Our Featured Product: Masterbatch with nano copper

One of our product is a masterbatch with an additive based on copper nanoparticles, which provides biocidal, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties to different plastic products.

  • The additive allows an efficient release of the active agent, enhancing its biocidal efficiency.
  • It requires low quantity of the additive to achieve a biocidal effect.
  • Also it preserves the properties of the original product: processability, mechanical resistance and chemical resistance.

Studies And Research Papers

The biocidal property of our additive is due to its copper nanoparticles.

Numerous studies show that copper is effective against antibiotic-resistant microorganisms, such as Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus (VRE), the Staphylococcus Aureus Methicillin Resistant (MRSA) and the Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (ERC).

Analysis demonstrate that tested material treated with our additive is
capable to eliminate 99,99% of microorganism.

    NANO copper

    Our products are based on copper nano particles which deliver a biocidal properties.

    Integration

    The microparticles are integrated into a masterbatch that is incorporated into the process of a variety of plastic polymers

    Release

    The nano particles release ions which damage the cell wall of a microorganism, causing a disruption in the cell membrane, affecting its enzymatic processes, thus generating oxidative damage, which ends up degrading the DNA of pathogens causing their elimination.

    Elimination of microorganisms in a safe way for health and the environment.

    Permanent action

    The biocidal action is permanent, since the copper ions can interact with DNA preventing bacterial reproduction.
